Caregiver Support Meets In Amityville

Family and Children's Association will offer its Alzheimer's and dementia caregiver support program on Thursday, September 3, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at First Methodist Church, 25 Broadway. The free program provides assistance, care consultations and support for adults caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or dementia. No registration is required. The program is presented through Amityville Public Library and is scheduled to continue on September 17 and on later dates. Residents can attend at the church while the library building remains temporarily closed for construction.
