Huntington Open Space Committee Meets

The Town of Huntington's Environmental Open Space and Park Fund Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, October 8, at 6:30 p.m. The committee meets monthly and advises the Town Board on the use of open-space funds for parkland, open-space acquisitions, neighborhood enhancements and park improvements. The meeting is listed for Town Hall, 100 Main Street, Huntington. Because the committee's work covers town-wide park and open-space priorities, the meeting is relevant to Dix Hills residents following future recreation, conservation and neighborhood improvement decisions.
