Old Bethpage Cleanup Day Returns

The Town of Oyster Bay will hold its Homeowners Cleanup Day on Saturday, August 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Old Bethpage Solid Waste Disposal Complex, 101 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road. The program accepts nonhazardous materials including air conditioners, electronic waste, large metal items, propane tanks, tires, yard waste, and certain boats or campers with required preparation and proof of ownership. Free paper shredding will also be available for residents, with a limit of four bankers' boxes per household and no business documents. Proof of residency is required.
