Teen Cleanup Kits Support Community Service

Commack Public Library will offer Teen Volunteer: Community Clean-Up Grab & Go Kits on Monday, August 31. The program is open to students in grades 6 through 12 who register with a Commack Public Library card. Participants pick up a kit and instructions in the Teen Room, then visit a local park or beach to collect litter. The library says participants can receive one hour of community service, with only one hour granted through the program each month. Registration closes at 9:00 a.m. on August 31.
