County Offers ACEs Training

Hanover County Behavioral Health Wellness will offer free Adverse Childhood Experiences training Tuesday, September 22, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Mechanicsville Library, 7461 Sherwood Crossing Place in Mechanicsville. The session explains how traumatic childhood experiences can affect later mental and physical health, along with protective factors that can reduce risk. The program will use the art of Kintsugi to help participants process the discussion. Registration is required through the county event listing. The training is intended for Virginia residents and provides practical information for families and community members.
