Balance Program Helps Prevent Falls

Hauppauge Public Library will host A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls on Friday, October 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The program uses discussion, problem-solving, skill-building and exercise to address concerns about falling and improve flexibility, balance and strength. Pre-registration is required, and participants must have medical clearance from a doctor before attending.
