Bellmore Library Begins Community Food Drive

Bellmore Memorial Library is collecting food and household supplies for the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District Community Cupboard throughout October. A donation table will be available in the library lobby from October 1 through October 31. Suggested items include cleaning products, paper goods, shelf-stable milk, oatmeal, snacks, canned goods, soup, tuna, pasta, beans, baby wipes and microwavable foods. The Community Cupboard is a student-run organization that helps provide food to local families, so residents can contribute during regular library visits.
