Middle School Conferences Mean No Classes

Woodmere Middle School students will have no school on Friday, October 23, 2026, because of scheduled parent teacher conferences. The Hewlett-Woodmere district calendar lists the conference day as a school schedule change for WMS students, while it separately lists an evening conference period on October 22. Families should plan transportation, childcare, and other weekday arrangements around the no-school day and rely on school communications for individual conference appointments. The calendar does not list a separate start or end time for the October 23 conference schedule.
