November Leaf Pickup Requires Paper Bags

Islandia's fall cleanup collection continues Wednesday, November 4, with leaves accepted in paper bags or reusable containers, not plastic bags. Place leaves and securely bundled brush at the curb before 5 a.m. Wednesday, but not before Tuesday evening. Bags, containers and bundles must weigh under 50 pounds, and bundles must measure no more than 4 by 2 by 2 feet. Grass clippings and loose leaves raked into the street will not be collected. Wednesday collections continue through December 2.
