Paper Recycling Scheduled for Saturday Pickup

Saturday, November 14, 2026 · Shirley, NY

Brookhaven's 2026 recycling calendar schedules paper and cardboard collection for Saturday, November 14, rather than the usual Wednesday collection day that week. Shirley households using town collection should have accepted materials at the curb before 6 a.m. Place recyclables loose in the container, not inside plastic bags, and flatten cardboard boxes. Keep plastic and metal recyclables separate for their designated collection date.
