Living Conduit Reception Opens October Exhibit

South Ocean Gallery will hold the opening reception for Living Conduit - Indigenous History and Present Day on Saturday, October 17, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at South Nassau Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 228 South Ocean Avenue. The exhibition is a solo show by Shinnecock artist Jeremy Dennis and includes landscapes, portraits, interviews, and narrative photography examining Indigenous history and continuing presence on Long Island. The reception will give residents a chance to meet the artist, view the exhibition, and take part in conversation and refreshments. The exhibition is scheduled to remain on view through November 21.
